Dianthus erinaceus is a low-growing evergreen perennial that forms a dense mound of sharp-pointed, short, grey-green leaves. Its common name is the Hedgehog Dianthus. Small, single pink flowers are produced in summer. Slow-growing, long-lived and drought tolerant once established. It's a great choice for rock gardens, raised beds, or containers.
